Tursunov has pulled out injured so Andy won't play tonight. Another day to recover. Whistle

Yes just caught up with that.  Taken him long enough to make up his mind. Can't see Andy being too happy with Wawrinka up next.

He probably saw what Andy did to Nadal on Sunday! Andy will no doubt find someone to practice with today!

It all sounds pretty suspicious to me.  He's certainly had plenty of time to sit around and let his nerves get frazzled!  Oh well, at least Andy can go back to his hotel and get a decent night's sleep.

Not too late, I hope.  If this match had gone ahead Andy probably wouldn't have seen his bed much before 2 am - and that's assuming he'd won in easy straight sets.  He's said it can take him up to 3 hours after a match what with interviews, seeing his physio, sitting in an ice-bath (ughhh) and having something to eat.

Yes.....I'd forgotten about all that........Still, I think he'll hate not having the chance to acclimitise to the faster courts! He should be ok anyway!

Also, the extra rest will probably make up for that!

I would have been happier if Andy had gotten his first match done and dusted. Playing Stan in your first match is a bit tricky I think.

Yeah he is a tricky opponent, but like Aileen says it would have been a very late night for Andy tonight had he won which also wouldn't have been good for facing Stan. At least it's given Andy a bit more rest after all the matches he's played recently.
