My fellow Californians The Beach Boys used to sing of Good Vibrations and that is exactly what I have been feeling when it comes to Andy Murray's game over the first two rounds. In what were, in my view, the best opening five days of a Grand Slam tournament that I have ever been part of, I have been really impressed with the way Andy has taken care of his business without any fuss. All around him there has been drama, but he has not been a part of it ... ... Confidence is bred by winning easily, and by the end of Andy's match against Jarkko Nieminen you could see it flowing back into him after a few of the struggles he has had this year. He looks to be very positive in his head ... ... I picked up some of what I know to be encouraging signals about Andy. He has been more aggressive on his backhand return of serve and really hit his forehand with power from the centre of the court. It looks to me like there has been a concerted decision within the Murray camp for him to be more pro-active, and he is certainly good enough to carry out that strategy.I like it when I see him going for his serve and achieving a 63 per cent success rate on his first delivery, which he did against the Finn, and looking closely at his movement I thought it was razor sharp, showing no signs of any problem with his knee.
