Not a brilliant match but well done Andy. Not what they are saying on the radio. Saying some fantastic shots. Andy talking on the radio now - some dips in his performance but his shot-making was better.

Sorry I meant overall it wasn't a brilliant match - but excellent play from Andy.

Dare I say it's a pleasure to watch Andy at the moment. Serve still dire, but otherwise great tennis.

Did Henman ever reach the QFs without dropping a set?

Roddick took the tiebreak, and now into the 5th set. I'm off to watch sky news for a bit and get ready for work. Look forward to seeing some highlights later, when I get to work

He certainly made some wonderful shots - if only his first serves went in more often.

Serve was quite poor - it will need to be so much better against Tsonga, you cannot afford to give him those weak second serves that Murray tends to roll in.

Hopefully Andy'll go and practise his serve before Wednesday, but it was so much better last week.

Not sure how much use practicing your serve is, although it's logical to assume that practice makes perfect.
He does tend to serve well on the big occasions - wonder if the match with Tsonga will be last on CC?

Well, even with his serve gone AWOL (and that stutter at end of 1st set - glad I don't have heart problems) Andy is now the only high seed to have got through without dropping a set. Unfortunately Soderling prevailed over Ferrer in the end but it sounds like he sure had to work for it. Some of Andy's shots were so fantastic that I couldn't even see them - and then they didn't replay all of them. Anyway, well done Andy. A question to those of you who've been at Wimbledon over the last week - do you know what time Andy likes to practise as I gather he does so at a regular time and I'm there wed but on court 1, whereas I imagine he'll be on centre. I'll ask on another thread as well.

Ruthie, I imagine he'll be there from about 12:30 - 2:30, just an educated guess, mind you.

Thanks - though I think he's allowed to use the main courts, which might suggest earlier??
