The live stream I was on crashed just as Andy was about to be given his prize so I missed his speech - can I see it anywhere or can anyone tell me what he said? His tennis was described by a commentator as flawless and it was.
Mine too - sooooo frustrating!

Singles and doubles after going all the way here? Andy the prospect of facing Rafa at the end.
Asking for trouble with tiredness. What about his jetlag? I havent check to see the difference from Bankok but he suffers badly from it, so he said.
That is why he went to play at Bangkok, he finds the east harder, so already being in the east makes it easier for Tokyo and Shanghai.

Time difference 2 hours. So could be a 4 hour flight?

I can understand that. But still might be overstreching himself. Theres a lot of tennis left to be played this year. Playing with his bruvver Jamie I guess?

Report on Sky Tennis
Andy Murray claimed a simple 6-2 6-0 victory over Donald Young to secure his third title of the season at the Thailand Open. Why do Sky always put out goofy pictures of Andy, grimacing during shots, instead of, for instance him lifting the trophy?
I know. I'm never satisfied.

Nothing as yet from the BBC or Sky ...
... and nothing as yet from Phil. My goodness, what is there to say about such a short match? Of course I realise he may have other priorities ...

That would be a bit too much for me to handle At least the people of Thailand respect their monarchy.

Very shrewed move, great tactician both on and off the court!

Come on Andy!!!!
|
Andy has got an easy draw in Tokyo until the semis, Baghdatis was his main threat but if he is tired from the final against Tipsarevic then Murray go through to the semis
