I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

OK, Rusedski and Henman play in Rotterdam this week; Murray in Memphis. Up for grabs are the Brit 1, 2, 3 slots. Who can predict gold, silver and bronze for the end of the week?

I say:

1 Andy
2 Henman
3 Rusedski

I know Tim has points to defend, but I think pride will come to the fore and he'll win a couple of rounds. I also think Andy will go all the way in Memphis. Anyone disagree?

I can't see Henman getting past R1 or Ruseski getting past R2. Murray, on the other hand, has a very open draw apart from Kiefer, but I can see Murray pulling through to go all the way to the final.

1 Andy
2 Greg
3 Tim

The mind doubts, but the heart never does.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Hey dudes. With help from pggtips (new member), I think I've now got the minutae of the ranking system sussed. So as things stand:

Henman 1st round yet to play
Greg 2nd round loss to Davy (looks v likely at the mo!)
Andy 1st round yet to play

Greg 805
Andy 761
Tim 745

To give you an idea of what Andy and Tim have ahead, points are:

R1 loss = nothing more
R2 loss = 20 more
QF loss = 55 more
SF loss = 105 more
F loss = 170 more
Win = 245 more

I reckon Andy will lose in 2nd and Tim in 1st so my prediction is:

Greg 805
Andy 781
Tim 745

Tim needs to go further than Andy to stay above Andy.
Andy needs to reach QF to go above Greg.
Thus, Tim needs to reach SF to go above Greg.

That's pretty much all you need to know!

I think:

1. Andy
2. Greg
3. Tim

I'd like Henman to be #2, but I think Greg has more of a chance.

As long as Andy's # 1 then it's cool Smile

It's all a bit irrelevant though really. We all know that Andy is the true British No. 1 at the moment despite what the current rankings might say.
