Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

I realise now that the reason Andy is on early is that he's the only one of them playing dubs later. It says on tournament website that Tipsy retired from his dubs match because of breathing problems - that was what Nole used to do sometimes till he sorted his diet out.

It's Phil's turn for this one. Typically I only get the matches that aren't televised!

I think I might just have to record Andy against Wawrinka. 5ish is a bit early for me, although it could be done. I did it, funnily enough, after the Raonic match at the USO. I'd woken up and just couldn't wait any longer to find out the result. I've never done it for an actual match, but maybe there is a first time for everything.
See, I'm talking myself in to it now lol.

I suspect Tipsarevic and Raonic will go to 3. If this is the case I would be so gracious because I would be able to watch a bit of Andy play.

you might find your internal clock wakes you up anyway tj. I'm hoping mine won't as I woke up far far too early this morning; perhaps my internal clock was a day in advance. I wouldn't be at all surprised to be honest. Ah well, better a day early than a day late lol.

Gorillas beat their chest as a warning to potential rivals not to mess with them otherwise they'll get taken down-town and put in their place. I imagine those tennis players do it for the same reason.
Watching Djokovic his celebrations look very primal to me indeed, funnily I find Nadal very primal in his mannerisms as well. It isn't surprising that some of the very top players have those rather primate-like tendencies since being like so will naturally make them better athletes.
its an alpha male thing thats id guess is encouraged by their coaches....to outpsych an oponent. smart players would show the same arrogance in reply... body language usually sorts them out...allied with better tennis of course.
