It's not about faith, it's about my gut telling me it's not going to go well.
Could you not just ignore your gut? I ignore mine all the time.

Hi All,
Another Sky plus job for me, this one. Lightweight I may be, but there is only one 4 o'clock in my day, especially for watching tennis.
If Andy's back is all right I don't see any reason why he shouldn't win this one. I think he has sussed Raonic out now, and I think Raonic will be more respectful towards him, having taken a pasting in New York.
I think if Andy can start well, like he did today, it will help. Of course, Raonic doesn't play like Wawrinka, I'm not suggesting that, but if Andy can start well it will give him confidence, and perhaps put some pressure on Raonic. The danger will be if Raonic gets a hold of the match early on, maybe breaking Andy's serve. It would surely be tough to stop Raonic in a best of three if he goes on a roll, so Andy must stop him.
My feeling is that it will be tight. Something tells me that it's likely to be three sets, maybe two or even three tiebreaks, so perhaps not one for people of a nervous disposition. Of course, I'd love a nice, straightforward win for Andy in straight sets, but I'd be surprised.
Andy in three I reckon.

Murray learned his trade in Barca playing against older more powerful bigger servers... and knows to be patient for their mistakes. Raonic is a better version of an Isner or Karlovic , that said, is prone to many errors. I thought Raonic played well for the first half of the match at US open with Andy. Andy was just too good that day ...Raonic quoted as saying that too. If Andy has an off day he could lose this one... if he's on his game he'll win. Raonic now knows that ...and Andy does too id say.

love those pics bev. Just what is needed for any anxious guts!
I've voted Andy in 3 but agree it could be a tight match and not one for those with a nervous disposition so not too sorry it's in the early hours of the morning - just hope I don't wake up anyway as my internal alarm seems to be set for around then just now. Must try and forget Andy will be playing or else I'm sure it will.

I wouldn't agree that Raonic is better than Isner.

Yes I agree he did look tired and he's played a doubles match since then. Mind you I think a lot are. Berdych certainly looked it against kei. Perhaps it's the heat ?

But look at their performances. Isner destroyed Federer on the clay and then beat Djokovic in Indian Wells to reach the final. Raonic hasn't come close to any performances like that. Isner has a bigger serve, a better return and is far more consistent. In my opinion, of course, but his results back that up.
