LOL @ Raonic's pic. So there head to head is 1-1, I'm guessing they're counting the result at the Rogers Cup in which Murray pulled out? I think Murray wins this in 2, apart from Serve I don't see Raonic testing Murray much.

Well I watched the Raonic match before Murray's, it could be difficult. Against Raonic there's always the possibility that he could get a break then make it impossible to get back into it.

Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

Comms saying that the conditions will favour Raonic more here relative to Flushing Meadows so I don't think we can make any assumptions just because Andy thrashed him at USO. Raonic isn't stupid and he'll come better prepared this time and less cocky I think. That said Andy also has worked out how to play him so provided he keeps up his good play and his back isn't a problem, he should win but it could be in 3 like today. Comms seem to assume it will be the 1st SF which means 4am UK time - another one for the sky+ I think.

Withdrawals aren't included in the H2H figure.

Again the timing of this match is bad for me Thanks everyone for the comments on the Wawrinka match and I look forward to your comments on this one. I hope Murray will win but it could be a real tussle. Raonic is brash and bouncy but he's not thick. He'll have learnt a few lessons from last time

I hope I'll be able to go to bed early so I can wake up early again. Hopefully I should get tired earlier today since I took some time off my sleep last night. Looking towards tomorrow I've got a bad feeling about it unfortunately, I'm not sure it's going to be Andy's day.

Not if you don't put it out there! Positive thoughts!

It's not about faith, it's about my gut telling me it's not going to go well.

I'm confident. Andy eats these big servers for breakfast. Raonic is talented but Andy's the on-song player right now and he'll be wanting to protect that lovely run of unbeaten matches if humanly possible ... just hope his back is OK. Seriously though, it was really beautiful watching him play earlier this morning (what I could see before I went to work, anyway) - he seems to be playing so much more positively and aggressively and really trying to take control of points. Some of the points he won were completely daft - that chip return back in the first set was insane, I'd thought he was out of that point altogether and he won it.
I've said Andy in 2 though I hesitated for a second - it could potentially be 3 I guess but I'd still tip Andy to win it anyway.
