There's a link from Sky Sports here: http://aggbot.com/Sport-News/70/article/17941094I think Andy would have to play pretty badly to lose to Karlovic - although the serve is obviously a big weapon, the rest of his game is limited.

According to Andy's Blog on Twitter Andy is playing Lukas Lacko on Wednesday as his has been given a bye because of Monfils' withdrawal for injury. Same info on ESPN site.

Just seen on the BBC's text service, it's Lacko Andy is playing, and on Wednesday. He's received a bye (I think they mean a walkover) in to the second round because Monfils withdrew with injury.

What's the Karlovic stuff about? It would make sense for a lucky loser to step in for any first round withdrawals.

I don't see that to be honest. To me it makes more sense that Andy would go straight through to the second round.

But the whole system of lucky losers is meant for this sort of thing.

Exactly! Flashscores has Murray v Karlovic scheduled for 5.40 am UK time (they seem to be allowing 1 hr 20 per match. http://www.flashscore.com/tennis/atp-singles/tokyo/ Maybe the BBC is just blanking Karlovic after the foot fault controversy! Steven @GBtennis Tokyo ATP Facebook http://on.fb.me/QFg32m says Monfils is out and his replacement to play Andy will be announced on Tuesday morning Tokyo ctd: ... so AM should definitely be playing a lucky loser. There may be a question mark over whether it's Ivo, but Ivo is 1st in line

Well I have no idea what's going on but Andy's name still appears to be on the schedule on the official site, playing Gael.
