Heather Watson is 2-6, 3-5 down to Li Na as well, having lost 4 games in succession in both sets (having had a break point and a break respectively). |

Thanks for the updates. I looked on ATP mobile website for any completed matches and it says none I have stopped recording the tennis-I will start again in a bit on the off-chance but it sounds like it's in for the day. |

Play goes on til around midnight doesn't it? And it's not even 2pm. Surely the rain will stop (for long enough) before then?
Oh well. Doesn't matter too much anyway, given the 2nd round doesn't start til Thurs. Could've been a bit of a pisser if Andy was to start on Wednesday (and this happened).

Andy must feel like he is in London .. 72 and light showers .. Time for NY to get a roof. Looks like the rain is disappearing so we may get Andys match in. What a wash out so far.Dosent look like its gonna stop anytime soon.been waiting all day for the tennis to start,and then just before Andy is about to start it pours and pours.Having to listen to Greg and Annabel talking rubbish all the time is so boring.

They've just said on Sky Sport that its still raining very hard at Flushing Meadows (appropriate name) and no signs of stopping atm. It doesn't look good then, does it? It will probably be played in the middle of the night (Northern Europe) at this rate! There is ceratinly a lot of bad weather in North and Central America at present.  Anyway, beat him badly Andy  ! |
