In that case, don't forget Lopez's comments just before the match as well. The Lopez we saw on court was someone totally different than the one who played innocent in his pre-match interview.

Was thinking exactly the same thing EJ when I heard Marcus say that. Btw some of us have been rather critical of Marcus but he did seem genuinely excited by Andy's performance last night when talking to Peter Fleming I thought.

The only place that Cilic has beaten Andy is at the US Open - time for Andy to rectify that one. You chose two big mouths there Bev. Thats how it will be, roaring and raging with their racquets! Whilst a favourable H2H is no guarantee of winning, its certainly not a pyschlogical disadvantage. Cilic is a much improved player this year (and in the last 2 yrs.) Andy wont take anything for granted.

I have just read that Cilic is saying that when he is fit and well he is capable to beating anyone but as usual Andy will not take any chances.

Cilic has not exactly breezed into the last 8 has he? He played two 5-setters in his 1st 2 rounds. He then needed 4 sets to beat Nishikori. He beat Klizan in straight sets who I think is about world number 50. His results so far would suggest he has very little chance against Andy. Id much rather be playing Cilic than Berdych who Ive sneaky feeling will knock out Fed in 5 sets.

Cilic only got better with each round. Nishi is never an easy opponent but none of these matters since Cilic will be raising his level against Andy regardless. Just like Berdych was off form all this time only to make the qtr at the Open.

So I'd rather put you on Valium or maybe you can have hobnobs with robbie until the match is over and you have no clue.

Can I not have faith in our boy. Is it illegal ? I know I am a worrier ( big time) and I may have some slight OCD issues. But this is what I genuinely feel like for this match. I'm telling the truth guys. honest.

^Suppose there's the Aussie open for Andy's first Grand Slam then.

I take it John is on something already; that's the only logical explanation to his ultra extra confidence.
