Girl I know reckons they're awful. Shitty writing and just a rip-off of some twilight fan fiction. Each to their own though I guess.

After watching this, I like the poor guy.
So long as he doesn't win.

These have never met but Ivan looks like he can do a good Andy impression, which Andy seems to find amusing
Thanks for the H2H. Brilliant pics!

(Dutch newspaper today : Andy is favorite this tournament (even yesterday was not his best performance) . Mentioned also the speech at Wimbledon as the most beautiful post match interview in history of tennis...
)
That is really lovely flowerpower. Thanks for sharing.

Murraysworld clan have been down this road many times before benniebone. He was quite good yesterday got himself back in focus quickly and did not implode. He's getting better. Definately a Lendl influence.
I'd say that Andy's behaviour is perfectly normal now for a man with that fire in his temperament. Many players swear and smash up racquets (Djoko has to be an expert in the latter) but do they ever get criticised? Certainly not for swearing because mostly the umpires don't understand their language. Whilst throwing tantrums and shouting at his box was never acceptable, I see nothing wrong with Andy showing some emotion when he gets frustrated or wants to pump himself up. SmugFed gives me the creeps the way he tries, but doesn't always succeed, in keeping his feelings to himself.

Late even for this night owl, but no doubt I'll struggle through it! Hopefully Andy got the worst of his nervousness out of the road on Monday. No top player likes a R1 match, for obvious reasons.

Oh my!
Shame he's playing Andy. The interview does make you realise though just what so many of these foreign players, especially from Eastern Europe, have to go through to achieve their ambitions.

I could not agree more!!! I don't know, when they interviewed him in Toronto he seemed nice, a bit of a sweetheart to be honest, but he does have that overgrown baby look about him. I have a horrible mental image of him wearing an old-fashioned nappy with a giant safety pin in it whilst holding a giant dummy in his mouth. Not a good image!
By contrast, did anyone hear one of the comms the other week talking about Andy having the perfect build and physique for a tennis player? I can't remember who said it, but they talked about him being tall but not too tall, having a good build, but not carrying too much weight on his chest and such, which means he isn't top heavy. They talked about him having strong legs too, remarking on his great speed around the court. It was great to hear Andy being appreciated.
I have to say, he's too young for me, but by the time they'd stopped listing his various attributes I quite fancied him
lol.
Andy to teejay: I hear you want a piece of me?

Anyway, I am pretty glad Andy's playing tomorrow night as we are being civilized the whole afternoon tomorrow (etiquette training), so was really hoping and wishing that they would put Andy tomorrow night session and ...voila! Would have liked it though if it had been the first match but can't complain, really.
Coming back to Dodig again, he made big news last year after taking Nada outl in Montreal in the 3rd round. While I don't think Nadal put all his heart into that match, he did play as well as he could. It was a great match in fact if anyone remembers.

I love that Andy is finally on My Time!
Bev and I are well used to alarm clocks, Rachie. A lot of miles and time zones between us, but united in bleary-eyedness

I'm thinking Sharapova's match should be over quite quickly - but you never know! I've estimated that Andy's match should start around 9 pm EDT, 2 am BST - not that many Brits will be watching it.
