Raonic is a set and a break up now, his serve is awesome but it makes for such boring tennis.

Lopez is a very good player. I think the way that Murray has beaten him so easily at times has more to do with the matchup of styles. He's got a great serve, a very good forehand and is great at the net.
However with that said, the match was worryingly reminiscent of the 2010 defeat to Wawrinka. He looked like the conditions were really affecting him and just looked extremely lethargic. In 2010 he lost that match, but it was something that was evident in many matches before that as well (one against Fish and another against Gulbis in Cincinnati). I fear it's going to be a similar struggle against Raonic if he gets through.

Murray will probably lose to Raonic if he continues to throw in loose service games immediately after breaking. He's been doing it for the whole US hardcourt swing, so it doesn't look good.

I'm a little afraid of Raonic. He looks to be playing extremely well.

Good heavens Blakes only won Three games so far,at this rate this match is gonna be over in another hour.Andys got more talent than Blake,he can do so much more with the ball than Blake can.He will get some chances against Raonic.

Yes Apollo he's played him once before and lost to him.The second time they were supposed to play each other Raonic pulled out with an injury. The third time they were supposed to play Andy pulled out with an injury. So it's one nil to Raonic.

I feel bad for James. My daughter and I are personal friends with him and remember the old days.

Must be tough on the Canadians, loving Murray and wanting to also see their home guy win.

Murray is thankfully now pacing himself in the big tournaments. He does seem to now able to tailor his matches to his opponents. Lopez was always going to be difficult and no doubt Raonic will also be a challenge - it would be disrespectful to think otherwise. I honestly think you are stuck in a mindset, Phil - Andy isn't.

16 aces so far for raonic 90% winning on first serve. That's tough to play against.

Raonic and Andy have met once, in Barcelona on the clay. Raonic won. They also both have a walkover each.
I'm never sure how relevant a win on clay is to matches on grass and hard to be honest. I'm not sure it tells us anything. I just hope Andy is fit to compete, I'm sure he will be, in which case he returns vastly better than Blake.
