I am confident about the outcome of the match against Lopez. Andy was afraid of the previous match and it will significantly motivate themselves for the rest of the tournament. Come on Andy

I read this morning in an article in Eurosport Andy "is now accompanied by Roger Rasheed." I'm surprised that no comments will be posted on french  forums .  Are the English medias talking about it?

LIBANY, we had a discussion a while back about Rasheed being Andy's new coach. Nothing came of it a the time. Of course after Monfils, Andy would be a piece of cake for Rasheed Wink

Considering Andy and Lopez's  H/H I can't see any reason why this match should not be enjoyed as an easy, relaxed one before, what could well be, a large home crowd supported, real test/threat! Let's hope I am wrong.  crossfingers

thanks for your answer Bleuberryhill

I really think Roger Rasheed could be beneficial to bring ANDY not only in terms of the game but also in terms of managing emotions that may inhibit this player so talented. Roger is also a philosopher who can build relationships with him very productive. Roger had a lot of merit to propel the twentieth to seventh place this whimsical French. It should allow Andy to climb No.?

Has anyone seen RR (not rescue remedy!) in Andy's box?  If he were accompanying him surely he'd be there?  But odd how these rumours keep resurfacing.  I don't know enough about him Libany but from what you say it sounds like he could be a good person for Andy to choose.

7pm local time start means a 1 pm start Monday for me, which is whilst I'm at work Crying or Very sad So livescores it will be for me with the hope that he will be on the tv coverage that I set the video for. Andy it's all on your hands (with some positve vibes from your fans).

Was the Ivanoviv late start at 12.45 am typical of the night matches this week. Was scheduled for 12.00am yet never started till 12.45.Was this a one off and do the night matches normally start at 12.00 to 12.15 am.Not sure yet what to do wither to get up early and watch or stay up late

Will depend on whether the afternoon session over runs or not.

We cant be too sure of the exact start time, in other words. A bit of a risky business for those of us that need our beauty sleep!

Roger Rasheed is at US Open as he is tweeting from there. Expects Nadal and Andy to get through today.

Good luck Andy - please can you go this in three sets as I have to get up for work in the morning!!!  Go and do what you did to Feliciano at Wimbledon.  Still believe this is your year - you are the epitomy of scottish passion and spirit - come on Andy get the crowd behind you and lets get the Highland Roar back.  Scotland believes this is your time.

Ruthie, let's all stop looking for mysterious & hopeful indications. When an official coach is appointed by Andy either on a full-time or part-time basis, an official announcement will be made from Camp Murray and not before.

The rest are pointless suppositions.

Fair enough OSS but on that basis not much would get said here as much of what we all say is pointless!  w00t  It's just idle chat.  Whistle
