Just a brilliant performance by Andy - he served well himself, and returned Raonic's serve really well. So many fantastic passing shots too. Well worth staying up so late to see.

What a fantastically impressive performance from Andy. That was all we could hope for, in terms of strategy, execution and concentration. It does show that it takes a really dangerous player to bring that sort of attention from a top five player.
I always used to notice how deadly serious Nadal was when he played the younger Andy, because he knew if he gave him any encouragement, he might just get played off the court. Remember how Nadal used to over celebrate when he had won - pure relief! It's one thing to see Nadal do it, but its wonderful to see Andy pull it off, the deadly serious bit that is. That was so good I'd like to watch it again!

I was a lot nervous before the match but during the first set, I was a little nervous. In the 2nd and 3rd, I wasn't nervous at all and it spooked me out a bit, but I decide to trust me feelings instead.

Andy leads 6-1. The defeat came here in 2009.

Wow I'm too late. But this time it's lovely to be right. Blew his smug face off the court

At least I can lie in if I want to but it doesn't look as if it will be a long match. And he's done it! One of those very special, clinically brilliant matches I will watch on reply with real relish. Well done Andy. Now get past Cilic and do it again to Fed in the semis.
I hope and I think that you'll find that it won't be Federer that is there if Andy does get passed Cillic.

Cilic definitley looks very on so Andy will have to stay on too. Maybe Cilic should start trash talking, that will motivate Andy more.

Got up 2.30am local (French) time to find I'd missed half of it, then half a hour to find a stream, but what a very enjoyable match!

Brad Gilbert just mentioned the 6 -1 H2H in the interview and Andy gave a wry grin.
Andy always respectful when asked about next opponent. Always talks about the strong points in the other players game.
Take a leaf out of Andys book Milos and we will like you a lot better. You have a game to work with, but you have not arrived at the top yet, remember that.

Have recorded it. Really looking forward to watching it later today. Sounds like a superb performance. Love the fact that he has wiped the arrogant smirk off Raonic's face, and taught him a valuable lesson in being polite to his elders and betters. He might be a little bit more respectful to the top 4 now. Straight sets just adds to the lesson. One of his advisors should have warned him to enjoy his victory over him a few months back, but not to take it for granted, as even when AM is losing he will be working out the measure of his opponent for the next encounter. Sounds like Murray and Lendl cracked it.
