Andy will have to be at his most concentrating to overcome Young. He can do it but he must not waiver.

Go, Andy, all the way.

The match is at 11am (4pm our time) tomorrow. The bad weather has meant that the big matches have to start earlier. I'm sure Andy's thrilled Smile

I really feel that Andy is not going to be challenged until the semi's. He knows he can beat Young and either Simon/Isner.He is full of confidence now and it can only get better as the days go on. We may have a bit of a delay tom re weather but no biggie for our boy. Keep the faith!

H2H Below.  We have the Andy that's in a different frame of mind at the moment, though is still prone to a mind melt moment.

Anyway, didn't realise that I was listening to Braveheart OST whilst searching pictures of Andy and putting this H2H together lol

From Wikipedia (about Young)  and he's a leftie - Andy like lefties yes

2011Young lost to Marin Cilic in the first round of 2011 Australian Open after winning three qualifying matches against Dieter Kindlmann, Alberto Brizzi, and Izak van der Merwe.

At the 2011 BNP Paribas Open Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells, he defeated his highest-ranked opponent to-date in Andy Murray, winning in straight sets 7–6, 6–3.

In April Young won the Tallahassee Tennis Challenger.

He advanced to the second rounds of the 2011 AEGON International and the 2011 AEGON Championships.

In the US Open, Young defeated Lukas Lacko in the first round in 3 sets, 6–4, 6–2, 6–4. In the second round he defeated world No. 14 Stanislas Wawrinka in 5 sets 7–6, 3–6, 2–6, 6–3, 7–6 in his first 5 set victory in 4 hours and 21 minutes. He then advanced to the Round of 16 in a Grand Slam for the first time in his career by defeating Juan Ignacio Chela in straight sets 7–5, 6–4, 6–3.

Weather Forecast for Flushing Meadows: Rain likely. High 67F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall near a half an inch.  Could be a long day.  It would be lucky if Andy could get the 11:00 start & may be a good day to be scheduled early.

Would rather Andy is having a real good sleep rather than reading this, but just in case.  Go Andy!!  On your metal! Go!   Boxing Hear us all cheering for you!

Was sure hoping for a night match so I could see it, another nervous day at the office.

Best of luck Andy Mr Magic, you'll have to be on your toes with this young whipper snapper, he's full of confidence, so come out ready to play your A game and show this fellow a thing or two!!

May the force be with you Andy!!!  cmonandy
