I meant what I said. yes
I do admire your optimism Linda, certainly as far as the AO goes - but stranger things have happened.

Only Katie and Angie might be right about the AO. Both have gone with Rafa. Smile

Prefer Stan's game, but wouldn't pick against Rafa.

Meh.     Can't be bothered watching how "great" Fedal is.  I would like wawrinka to win.  Lmao.  Idek why tho.    It would be typical if Rafa won it. *yawn*

I'd like Wawrinka to win as well.  Just for the breath of fresh air, if nothing else!

Read an interesting stat on Guardian: Andy or Rafa have been in the last 17 slam finals, without, of course, ever meeting.
Haven't checked this but expect TMH or Grab to have that kind of info at their fingertips Think
But just checking last year, holds.
A meeting at Wimbledon this year is possible?

2014 AO: Nadal vs Wawrinka

2013 USO: Nadal bt Djokovic
2013 W: Murray bt Djokovic
2013 FO: Nadal bt Ferrer
2013 AO: Djokovic bt Murray

2012 USO: Murray bt Djokovic
2012 W: Federer bt Murray
2012 FO: Nadal bt Djokovic
2012 AO: Djokovic bt Nadal

2011 USO: Djokovic bt Nadal
2011 W: Djokovic bt Nadal
2011 FO: Nadal bt Federer
2011: AO: Djokovic bt Murray

2010 USO: Nadal bt Djokovic
2010 W: Nadal bt Berdych
2010 FO: Nadal bt Soderling
2010 AO: Federer bt Murray

Wow. So the last time one of them wasn't in the final was when Del Potro won his maiden slam against Federer. In-fact the latter three slams of that year were all contested by Federer and one player outside the top 4 (Soderling, Roddick and Del Potro).

That's a pretty impressive stat.
