GangstaMurray's behaviour on this site was disgusting last night. Trying his best to troll and dampen everyones mood just after Andy picked up the award is a stupid and childish thing to do.

I was so happy for Andy's win last night, though I got a bit worried when I managed to get through on the landline so many times, as I never got through at all last year, in spite of constantly dialing! I won't know how many times I voted till the phone bill comes, but I know it was more than a dozen before I lost count! I know this win will mean a great deal to him......not the award itself so much, but more the knowing he's 'valued and respected' by his countrymen, after all the years of hatred and hassle he so undeservedly was made to endure!  Rolling Eyes Still.......better late than never I suppose! I was very disappointed  that Mo Farah never even got placed!  shocking I had him down as runner up for sure.  confused God knows he deserves it!

At this moment I have his career at heart rather than his PR, so excuse me if I would rather he was getting fit again then having to spend hours picking up awards he could so easily get when he's reached his full potential or ended his career. Not everything should come at once for him.

If Andy has been offered a knighthood he would have known about it since about October.

I can't see it happening just yet. Let's keep it for when he retires with at least a handful of majors to his name.

I think you could look at Andy's landslide victory in three ways. Firstly it's a personal triumph for him. Secondly it demonstrates a shift in how people see him, and thirdly it has the added benefit of getting right up the noses of Andy's detractors. The thought of how annoyed the idiots would be when Andy was announced as the winner last night fills me with glee!
