He won't win wiggins will get it. Shame andy had to win his first slam in Olympic year too much focus on that.  Still when he's no 1 in the world next year with a couple more slams to his name next year it will be his.

love the kevin mitchell tweet.  And thought Andy came over so well in the video link especially telling Sue B it was her fault for giving him the mike  he broke down.  I think that might have gained him a few votes!
Why can't we vote yet?  At this rate it will be a case of whose fans can dial fastest.

As you say there's very, very hard competion this year- so many good and deserving sportsmen and women. I'd tip Wiggins to win too, or Ennis.

At the end of the day whoever wins it will fully deserve it. There are far more important things than this award, which is effectively a popularity contest.

How come we get to see again Ennis and Farah races all we saw of Andy was 2 points in 2 matches.

Because BBC holds the rights to Ennis and Farah footage. They held the rights to Andy's Olympic win, and they even bought rights to show his US Open win from Sky, which will of cost a fair bit.

bloody land line keeps telling me the line isn't in service when it's not engaged - this is a conspiracy!  is anyone else having this problem?  am voting with mobile too but wanted to vote also with landline
