How on earth does that suggest a change of sponsorship is going to happen?

No idea - just quoting a quote ...... perhaps they have more info than they are revealing at this stage ?

Andy's Fred Perry deal ends at the end of the year and Nike/Reebok/Adidas are expected to offer contracts worth more than Fred Perry can.

Still, the quote you posted up makes absolutely no sense. Donating a Fred Perrty kit to a museum does not suggest anything about changing sponsorship.

I would be surprised if Nike/Adidas hadn't offered Murray a better price a long time ago, I think there's more to it than money.

Hmm, must have been one hell of a deal if a star like Andy who was racing up the rankings was persuaded to go with a contract lasting several years. Think

But what's the point in a one year deal for the brand? You don't want to spend millions promoting Andy as the face of your brand if he's going to go somewhere else after a year...or maybe it's just a rolling yearly contract and it is a good deal.... Shrug

As far as I know, Andy got a 4 year deal with FP in 2005 and at the end of last year the deal was extended for a year.

I think it was probably extended for a year because it was 100 years since Fred Perry was born and all that stuff, maybe leaving at that time would have been bad PR for Andy.

I'd hate t see him move to the likes of Nike or Addidas, they are all so samey. FP is rather classy and I think the only other label in the same league would be Lacoste.
