Can anyone remember the typical OOP for Murray's matches? Do they put most of his matches last so people get to see it when they get home from work?
Not sure it's that specific Mark. Obviously the Gasquet match last year had a late-ish start but generally they tend to have an even split of matches on the show courts between mens and women singles, so could be anytime really. In saying that he's probably more likely to be on 2nd, 3rd or 4th than first on a given day.
Just checked the OOPs from last year and summarised below:
R1 - 3rd match on
R2 - 2nd match on
R3 - 2nd match on
R4 - 3rd match on
QF - 2nd match on

Thanks for that, very interesting! It seems then they didn't have him start at dinner time at all!

I was surprised to see that, but remembered that he was mid-afternoon for the first few... he's more box office now, so I think they'll shift him to late times this year.

Yeah, unless some of those days were affected by rain delays meaning he ended up on court later than planned.

I do think this time it will be different, I'd expect at least half of his matches to be on in the evening.

I've watched Gonzo on grass, he's pants on it, as you'd expect from a Chilean.
Got induction training on Monday so hoping Andy is 2nd or 3rd on!

Did Gonzo play any of the warmup grass tournaments? If so, how did he fare?

I know and I would be ecstatic if he wins.
I just have this niggling thought that it's going to be Fed.
I'm amazed I feel so deflated, I suppose it's because Rafa is so great to watch. He's so damned stubborn and, just like Andy, you never feel he's out of a match. Besides the game needs him. He's a wonderul character.
Queen's, apart from Andy's win, was a snorefest. I know the crowd at Wimbledon are better and actually has people who enjoy tennis courtside, as opposed to the corporate bores inhabiting the former (
and didn't they just give themselves away talking to John Inverdale) but suddenly part of the glory of Wimbledon has dimmed.

Let's not forget the crowd factor if there is a Murray vs Federer final, the Gasquet match is a perfect example of what an advantage that is. The crowd will be extremely loud and crazy from the start.

I have this feeling too Mark, that come 2 weeks on Sunday when Andy faces Rog in the final and gets a match point (
that's not saying he would win, Tommy Haas came within 1cm of destroying Fed's FO dream) that we all get mass hysteria, try and refresh the page on here, and it crashes!
Are you sure the site can cope?
