Inspired by Bev, and not great timing for her perhaps? I'm learning..

Good that you stepped in for Bev. The H2H is very worthy too! Liked their expressions.

I have voted for Andy in 3, nothing new there then Surprised))
I notice that Lu has never won at title... he's not going to get one any time soon either!

I absolutely love this time of the year. Got my 2 weeks off just loping around the house, sipping pimms, lemonade, fruit & topped with vodka!!Only bits i hate is the inbetween  days although i rather enjoyed Laura's match today. Boy that girl can hit the ball. Only hope she can overcome her slump when she plays the lower ranked players but i think she will be ok as its Wimbers!!

Cmon tomorrow Andy. Do it in 3!!!

Andy will be on the ball for Lu, no doubt about it. He's not daft enough to be complacent. The loss at the 2008 Olympics was just one of those things. Andy learned from it.

Speaking purely for myself, I don't think I can summon the energy to worry about this one. I'm just going to sit back and watch Andy win..... er, I mean play Smile.

while I'm sure andy will do fine apparently grass is Lu's best surface (hence the win against roddick here) so I don't think we should underestimate him - I'm sure andy won't.
I too was hoping it would be on court 1 so andy gets his statutory exile out of the way while the weather is still fine.   Perhaps they've actually learned a lesson from last year when he was stranded on court 1 on two rainy days.

See people who are planning to go to Wimbledon today to stand in the queue have been told to stay away as the queue's are already full!!
Am pretty sure Andy will not take this match for granted as he is way too seasoned for that!

I heard that about the queue. I've also heard there has been quite a row about the number of empty seats on Centre on day one.

That's a good point Ruthie. I think with grass especially no opponent should be underestimated. All it takes it one bad service game and the set can be over.
