Hope Andy comes out firing against this guy. I sense it could go either way this one.... a straight sets win for Andy or a complete banana skin. Robredo has won 443 career atp matches...the guy knows how to win a tennis match ...and barring injury would have won more.

Come on Andy!!!

350 of them are probably on clay and another 80 of them are probably on hard. He has no credential on grass. None. Grass is a very tricky surface for clay-courters. Of course, nothing should be taken lightly and for granted but if this match becomes a banana skin, then it will mostly be because of Andy.

Andy needs to get off to a very good start but if the roof is closed, then he'll be nervous for a few games. He should really and truly prevail in the end.

Mahut would have beaten Robredo if he did not have the thigh injury. He was also fatigued due to playing 3 qually matches before winning in Holland just last week.
I don't know how anyone can say anything for sure. It's not like Mahut came close to winning - Robredo won in straight sets. Impossible to say how the match would have gone if Mahut was fully fit. Robredo's a very solid player.

I don't see why the roof closed should be an issue - after all Andy has played under it before so he knows what conditions to expect.  That said I'm a tad nervous about this match!

Robredo is nothing on grass, he will try to junkball Andy a lot. That is it. Andy in three easy sets.

Nadal does a lot of junkballing, literally spinning everything in. Not going for much, just forcing errors from Andy.

Yeah clay courters dont do as well on grass becoz ...clay is a skill leveller and grass is the polar opposite. The thing with Robredo , for me, he is 31 and has reached no5 in the world before. He can play a bit....and he has nothing to lose...He will come out swinging.

That said ive predicted Andy in 3 ....just a bit of caution bout this one tho.
