You know what the worst thing about this tournament is? How pathetically passive he's been all tournament. Why? Just why? He won the Olympics by playing aggressive. He won the US Open by playing aggressive. To beat Janowicz (and Djokovic.. but it won't get to that now anyway) he needs to play aggressive. Instead he's just fannying around letting the big hitter dictate. It's unbelievable frustrating watching him get totally outplayed when he's capable of playing so much better.
Thing is though, if he wins Wimbledon those passive starts will be completely forgotten, the pressure for him to do well here must be incredible, i can imagine it's down to nerves or the crowd just not being involved enough.
I agree though that he would save himself a lot of anguish if he could grip a match from the very beginning, but then maybe that is Murrays appeal and why we all support him, he is probably the best player in the world at turning a match from abysmal into glorious.
