Those are impressive stats.  Am getting really nervious now, I just so want to see him do this and do not want the Duracell Bunny to stand in his way.  I usually have nothing against Ferrer but Roddick ruined Andy's day in the sun a couple of years ago and it seemed to be his swan song toury do not want Ferrer to do the same.  For one day only I hope the Duracell Bunny has a does of mixamatosis !!!

Come on Andy .........

Firstly come on Youhzney keep Fed on the court for 5 sets or at least until 4.30pm so that I can get home from work to watch the main man !!!

Wills & Kate are at Wimbles today. No humble bow from Fed I see? lol
Glad they'll be there to cheer on Andy.

Had a look at Andy's stats for this tourney.. 47 aces (ahead of Fed, Nole)
Fastest serve speed 134 mph (Nole/Fed not even on the board)
1st serve receiving points won 78 (behind Nole/Fed)
2nd serve points won - Top of leader board Smile
2nd serve return: Top of leaderboard Smile

How many winners has Andy produced, and could you provide a link to this information please Scotnadian?

Novak demolished someone he always beats and to some he is the heavy favourite but it would seem that Andy is playing better than he is against more difficult opposition.

Good god woman ... haven't you learnt by now that they should have bowed to him?? naughty

At least Wills and Kate are genuine tennis fans, so very delighted to see them there.

Meanwhile looks like Roger is on his way to thumping Youznhy - and the roof isn't closed and here comes the rain.   What are these clowns thinking of knowing rain is forecast?  OK so it's supposed to be an outdoor tournament, but sure this year there are extenuating circumstances - it isn't good to have matches stopping and starting at this stage in the tournament if it can be avoided.

Yes and how dissapointing. Roger must be in the head of just about every 30ish player on the tour now.
For psychological reasons we need Novak to beat Roger, or maybe even take it to 5.
It gets a little complex when we have to take into account which Andy Murray may show up if he does get to the final.

This must not happen, I don't see Roger winning against Djokovic. It might even be a straight sets win and if Andy has to go to the wire after the rain delays etc he will be disadvantaged. He can & should do it in 3 on the grass. Ferrer hasn't even been to the qrt's here before. If he serve's well and is aggressive he can do it, ferrer is the perfect player on which to apply your aggressive game.

4 sets at best. I don't think Andy would want to take it in 5. If he's smart, then he should know, this is Wimbledon and it's a QTR final match and he has enormous potential here to make the final, so he should by no means jeopardize this by being in a dog fight against a player like Ferrer. He should really know better at this point. There's no need to delay the match by playing sloppy. No need to entertain the crowd by making a late comeback. He simply couldn't afford to be that stupid. The crowd will be in his favour regardless and will cheer him on, so he should understand that and keep the match short. Energy must be saved.

Dismiss him, Andy - in 3, if possible.
