You wouldn't by any chance be Linda, Oslo, would you?
Gone through it all and done the necessary. Great to see so much positivity and even the negative ones are fairly benign and predictable, although "pleen, Gloucestershire" sounds a real pillock - and you'll find he's had a slap round the ears from Aileen, Edinburgh (02:02).
Come on MWers - get in there and vote and/or add a comment!
I've done my bit
and used my real name (well, part of it)

Yes I was just thinking that too - Andy's talked a lot about dealing with adversity recently. It must be something than he and Lendl have talked about together and have been working on. He dealt with losing the first set tiebreak so well yesterday and kept on fighting throughout the match. So often in big matches he's not played the big points well, but yesterday he was able to come up with his best tennis when it really mattered. His serve in particular helped him out so much.
Agreed, and this will be so so important against the other top guys in the crucial moments late in a tournament e.g. 5-5 final set of a Slam semi or final (remember Melbourne this year). The fighting qualities Andy showed yesterday will surely help against Djokovic on Sunday.

I understand all that, but when you start doubting, and showing it, you're more than half way to losing. Thats one great improvement in Andy's game, his dealing with adversity. Its starting to win him new support, too. I'll never write him off until the last point.
Oh aye, but we're not the ones out there playing are we!
True, but I've just gotten used to the old "expect the worst, hope for the best" cliché in all forms of sports these days.

So impressed with Andy's mental fortitude excellent, he effectively outfought David Ferrer! Thought his mental attitude and focus when 5-2 down in the tiebreak was immense.

hope murray reads Laver's comments re his performance yesterday. If he wont listen to Lendl or him we will be subject to another agonising match with Tsonga. Meanwhile ,at last, murray has covered his points and raised his ranking for the O2 in London

Just watching the highlights on BBC iPlayer.
Andrew Castle's "Yes!" when Murray won the 2nd set was brilliant.

Go to the Daily Mail and vote for Andy!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-2168853/Wimbledon-2012-Andy-Murray-beats-David-Ferrer.html#comments
This was my first look at the Mail comments about Andy. Goodness - there are some complete and utter morons out there aren't there? What's the matter with these idiots?
I'm glad I don't lead such a sad and hopeless life that all I can find to do is to write such total tripe.

No idea, But Tiger Tim did nothing to further endear himself to me with his waffling commentary yesterday on how Andy should be playing. God knows what McEnroe thinks of him.

I know right.. whats so wrong about drawing inspiration from someone. Tim didn't exactly excel when he peaked.

If it is one thing Andy has it is FIGHTING SPIRIT he never gives up and I love him for that. He played very well even when losing the first tie break. I am so glad he won even with having such a hard draw unlike a certain Swiss person who had it far to easy. His focus has improved so much and he is now able to keep his concentration better. Well done Andy onward and upwards.

I don't normally do this.. but I just read this entire thread from beginning to end. If anyone else is inclined and gets the opportunity, I thoroughly recommend it.
It's absolutely hilarious.. well, now the pressure's off, of course.
