They did this last year. All of the top 4 will be on Court 1 at some point.

We will see!!!

All the media had taken for granted Andy wd be on centre esp with rain forecast and that rest of top 3 wd be too so as not favouritism. Weird and stupid decision surely? Just hope rain doesn't mess it up for Andy.

Glad you think its a strange decision too. As to the others on court 1, maybe next week when the weathers improved until then I doubt it. Still am sure Andy will be fine although judging by his comments on his blog yesterday I should think he will be surprised too.  He seemed to be assuming he would be on centre too. He was all over the place between centre and no1 at Roland Garros to and it didnt seem to hurt. Also if it is sunny the court will play faster too so it might be a benefit if he can get it over quick before the rain.

Second on after 10/c behind another mens game Bennetateu /Berdych so anytime between 3.30 and 5 ish I would think
Another Brit on No 1 after Andy,  Keothavong.

So, not H2H record with these two, but you know me, not going to let that stop me from posting one! Have included some YTD stats from the ATP website also, so we do have something to compare.

Thanks to Sylvie for Andy's photo.

Have booked the day off again, so I'm hoping that there won't be a raindelay

Isn't Kamke going to play lights out, his best tennis EVER and give us all a terrible fright, until Andy wakes up and demolishes him? We've seen this scenario quite a few times now. Always think it's tricky playing someone new with nothing to lose.
 cmon yeah
Andy u r  Super

You're right BBH, but I think Andy will be more prepared for that this time, and come out with all guns blazing! Hope so anyway! I'm going for Andy in 3!

Sounds like worst rain will be early pm with nice late pm so could mean Andy's match is delayed rather than disrupted and should get played ok. His opponent sounds in awe of Andy but agree this may be biggest match of his life so nothing to lose. Go Andy go.

Straight sets this time. Something like 6-3 7-5 6-2.

He beat Berdych at the tail end of last year, otherwise pretty useless.

I assume if the rain delays Murray all day, they can move him to Centre late evening?

I'd imagine so - I think with the potential rain for this tournament that they've got a plan in place for putting more matches on CC to get them done, at least of the bigger names

With Rafa around Andy was never likely to be on centre every match, although Rafa will be for sure.  The only year he was on centre every round was when he was seeded 2.  He has always won on court 1 so I see it as a good thing, just a bit of a bummer with the weather, but we may get lucky!

Should be routine for Andy anyway and good news yesterday with Cilic going out.  Kunitsyn could give Gasquet a few problems if we are lucky.  Looking forward to seeing Heather up first, she has a good draw and a great chance here to get to the second round, as Robson probably does later, although her form is not looking good at the moment.

Thank you! The way some folk are talking you'd think that Centre Court should be his private property and that he's not able to adjust play between two different courts Rolling Eyes
