What's that you say? Murray and Nadal meeting in the same half at Wimbledon? Sacre bleu!

11-4 H2H in the favour of Nadal.

Both players have dropped two sets on their way to the semi final.

Nadal has recovered, sadly, and with his champion ability to raise his game at the latter stages of a GS, my money is on a Nadal win, but I'd expect Murray to grab a set if things go his way.

Nadal in 4 for me.

Why so?

The Nadal/delPo TB situation.  I'm surprised at myself.  Didn't think I could go from being a fan to being disinterested in a heart beat. Fickle Very Happy

Nadal has won both previous meetings on grass (2008 and 2010) and also the three most recent ones.

Andy played a brilliant match on Rafa's turf at RG but unfortunately I don't think grass can help Andy out, Rafa's been serving out of his mind this week. For me it's Nadal in four but I relish the thought of any match between these two, quality! Smile

Murray will win in a five set thriller.....!!!!

He is in a much better position than last year when he had no real form coming into wimby.  Yes he will need to play a lot better, but Nadal is not invincible, and if Murray can just believe in himself, and take his chances when they come along, he can win.

Of course Nadal is the favourite, but do not write our man off yet!

GO ANDY!!!!

Yes - it was written on the toilet wall.  :p
I'm really looking forward to this match.  I get the feeling Murray is in such a better place right now but, if I'm honest, I am worried about this one.  Nadal is such a powerhouse in terms of play, and his mental fortitude is scary.

Unlike previous encounters, I do believe Andy can win, it's a realistic chance but will need to play his best.

With Fed out, I feel this is the final.

It is realistic - no doubt.  It just depends on the day and what transpires.  I wish it so much for Andy.  I really do.
