I can't seem to get rid of the butterflies in my stomach, even after Andy had his great win yesterday. Anyone else feeling that way? Usually I settle down after he wins a match and relax.

Nothing to do with Tsonga, something I've been wondering about for some time. Who's the old dude in the black cowboy hat I often see in the aisle seat in the players box at various matches (not always involving Andy) I'm guessing he's someone pretty important, and pretty sure hes known to someone on MW!!

I feel the same, and taking this one match at a time.

I know what you both mean and I must agree, taking it one game at a time and not getting ahead of ourselves is important. I'd like to hear what Andy's serve %'s are like so far. My impression is that they are okay, and that if they were even just to stay at 'okay' level in the next match, then that would be enough to keep Andy momentum in this tournament. Relaxing into the 1st serve and acknowledging what a gift it is, will advance Andy's game more that any other improvement within his reach. I think Ivan knows this. Simple steps, simple improvements, one game at a time.... Let's go Andy, let's go

Yes , I saw that last night, he looked totally knackered, you'd think he lost. I guess it was right after the match, and the effects of his adrenalin were wearing off.

I wonder if in this match we will hear loud support for Andy's opponent delivered by rather loud English voices as we have all through the tournament ?Such strange behaviour!!!!

Tsonga being interviewed by Sue Barker atm, says he hates playing Murray because he's so difficult to play against. I guess this stands up to the 5-1 H2H!
Can't wait for this. Nervous already. Come on Andy.

Can someone please edit that apostrophe out of the title? It's bothering me.

I genuinely hadn't even noticed it until it was mentioned. Shows how much attention I pay to the thread titles.
