Last year I knew what tickets I'd got from my club in April and we'd had a few weeks to say what tickets we were interested in, was hoping they'd hear shortly. |

[ because they had to suspend his match after one set due to rain and later on there was an empty court available on centre court with enough time to finish his match. I know others could lay claim to it too but even non-British commentators were commenting that the powers that be at Wimbledon seem to bend over backwards not to help Andy in a way you wouldn't find at say USO for American players.
That was the Cilic match wasn't it? I remember it causing quite a hoo-ha that it wasn't moved to Centre once Centre was free. I suppose it isn't ideal to switch courts, and I don't recall Andy being bothered, but still. I still remember the crowd on Centre, before they took the cameras off it, all chanting for Andy, because they knew he'd been rained off. I think the problem with Wimbledon is that it falls over itself to appear fair. The USO doesn't mind supporting their players, and the AO seems to have the same approach, but Wimbledon, 'must have fair play old chap'. |

Yes but I'm not sure when to buy them, whether to wait it out in hope for lower tier tickets, or just get upper tier. I'm now planning to make a 3-4 day trip out of it anyway  |

Just heard from a friend that tier 1 tickets for thursday had sold out first thing this morning. So glad we got the code from prodigyeng and now feeling v guilty that forgot to send it to my friend  Wonder when ours will be sent Ally.... Hi Ruthie, I managed to get two tier 1 tickets this morning for the Thursday. I did want to buy full day , but couldn't get that in Tier 1 so ended up getting afternoon tickets on Tier 1 and evening tickets in Tier 4, and pretty good seats too. I have been on again to check tickets and there are still plenty available for Thursday. Who knows Angie, but at least we have our names on them.  |

Very tempted to add tickets for Friday night to my Saturday collection but can't get to London til 7ish - can anyone remember when singles start (roughly) in night session - may be too tight to be worth it.

Well doubles doesn't start untill 6pm so 7ish should be fine. |
