The best thing if Novak goes up first and Berdych takes out Nole in straight sets then Tsonga will have nothing to play which should make it even easier for Andy to win in 2.

No he wouldn't - Nole would be up 2 sets and Berdych would be up 1 set.
We're discussing the scenario where Andy plays first. And I wouldn't be so certain that Novak wouldn't throw a match - he likely threw one against querrey last tournament.
And Andy didn't throw his match last tournament either, did he?

Andy will play in the evening
Thank you. And thanks Prodigy too.
This eliminates Nole messing with Andy's fate even if there's a remote possibility to it.

As long as Ferrer doesn't beat Federer, damn I'm actually going to be wanting Roger to win tomorrow.

Doesn't matter. Nole hasn't qualified yet and if he loses in two, there is a good chance he won't advance (in case Andy beats Tsonga in two). If he loses in three all Andy will have to do is win to advance, because he beat Berdych. Frankly, if Andy loses to Tsonga, he doesn't deserve to advance anyway.

^ Anyone understand any of that?
No?
That's how I feel reading the past 4 pages.
All I care about is Andy in the Final.. don't care how it all goes down.

He can lose once he wins a set. And by losing the Berdych it reduces the chance of Andy progressing which is always good. Like I said previously I think Ferrer beating Federer would tip the balance in favour of it being beneficial to throw it because it would make Novak then less likely to meet Federer as well. From a game-theory perspective I would consider it the best option in that position.

I am not sure why they take H2H into account in this format. Makes no sense to me.

Thankfully H2H only applies if 2 players are tied not 3, and it's H2H in the tournament not overall i think

Berdych's post match comments. He's onto something you can tell.
“I don't like mathematics at all. I will try to play tennis, and that's it. I will try my best. But Novak just [has] shown how great he's playing right now and that he deserve to be [the] No. 1 player in the world.
It's a huge challenge for me. But the other hand, he already has two wins, so let's see what's going to be in that last match.”

H2H comes before the sets count. The H2H comment isn't as clear. I do think they mean overall.
