Totally agree Teejay!Oooh,I'm not watching anymore, did he really ask that?Lol!what was his answer??
He was quite diplomatic, said he thought the crowd would want Andy through, or words to that effect. It was a good answer considering he looked like he was caught a bit off guard, as was I. Naughty Petch lol.

Yes, we'll keep the threat of physical violence on hold for now lol. Actually, forget hitting him, you distract him and I'll run him over in my wheelchair.....But only if necessary lol.
Got it!So a plan is in motion should it be needed-let's just hope that Andy will play so well, and be doing so well that it won't be necessary for us to intervene!

Sounds like he handled that one pretty well.I'm a bit sorry I missed it to be honest-though I almost can't believe Petch asked it!What a question!Hahaha

Thanks for that Dave. I will put my reminder on to BBC 3, I would not wish to miss it.

I don't quite understand. Surely given Berdych lost to ND in straight sets, if Murray also lost to Tsonga in straight sets, Murray would still go through on the H2H? The ATP WTF site has added all of the results from earlier, except recording Berdych's loss to ND in the match column.

Only when severely provoked lol. I also have tennis related Tourette's Syndrome. My sister, who is a nurse, reliably informs me there is no such medical condition. She has clearly not been around me watching Andy during tense moments in matches.
My argument is that I'm not a routine swear word user. I might use the odd 'b', but nothing more than that. When I watch Andy I could make a sailor blush
Therefore there has to be a link
.
Forgot to mention, my bones are still quietly cofident about Andy's chances in the WTF. I'm off to play Chariots of Fire now. I forgot the other day and he lost. Honestly, daft routine. Started during the Olympics and went through the USO with it. Every time I forget to do it Andy loses, so now I'm paranoid!

A way to look at this match with regards to qualifying is it's just like playing a 3 set match but andy is starting with a 1 set lead. So 1 more set and he'll win whereas Tsonga will need back to back to win.

Tsonga would go through as he would have the best sets won/lost ratio.
