That was, at least, close.

Boggo should play some smaller challengers to get some wins on the board. Smile

Boggo after his latest Wimbledon loss.

When it came down to crucial points I made mistakes and when you play at such a high level that can cost you the match.

Tomas was the better player today and I can't have any complaints about my defeat.

I can't get past the first round and it's difficult to take. But I've had some really hard draws.

I've been criticised for how many wildcards I've been given but I met the criteria every time. I've been British number two for a long time and as long as there's no-one out there better than me I deserve to be there.

I have confidence to get into the top 100, that's where I deserve to be and I'll do everything I can to get there. This is the best tournament in the world and I hope to keep coming back.

Oh come on, it's Bogdanovic, can we not just appreciate the sheer comedy value of when he wins? And mock him more for a loss? Smile

In the men's draw, Alex Bogdanovic fell in straight sets to 20th seed Tomas Berdych, completing a run of eight career singles matches at Wimbledon without a win.

However, the 25-year-old stated: "I'm getting better every year. I'm confident. I just need to play a few challengers, win some matches and then I'm going to start playing more ATP qualifiers."

!! Embarrassing...
