I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

The day before he played Nadal at Wimbledon, my mate saw him practising his serve on the courts at Aorangi Park. He walked up to the baseline, dropped an old Tesco bag on the ground and pulled out seven dog-eared tennis balls.

Truth is, I like the guy. He's a deceptive player, because his shots are easy on the eye and he has more natural talent in his fingernail than, say, a Jamie Baker has in his whole body. But he doesn't have EFFECTIVE shots. Possibly, just possibly, with the right coach he could do something. Possibly.

But he can't fund a decent coach himself and the LTA sure as hell won't fund one!

Hang on, what am I saying? This is the man who had the undivided attention of Brad Gilbert for a good six months. I could weep.

A shame that he lost but this is very good news. The fact that the Bog-Meister (I love Andrew's new term) lasted unto 22-22 before yielding gives a good indication that his mental toughness must be increasing and that grass suits his style of play. Maybe, he will qualify for Wimbledon and may even pass the 1st round. I am eager to see what happens.

That happened in the 2nd round of Wimbledon qualies and against possibly the best grass court player in the draw.

Pretty good all ways round for MrBog because as we all know, Mahut spends the entirity of the year, save for the grass season, practising for the grass season. Hopefully Boggo will have confidence, this wasn't Wimbledon qualifying was it?

Oh FFS. Sorry Allan
2 things, Mahut should probably have been offered a wildcard.
And no Boggo at Wimbledon?!
Who else will the media snaffle for the first days?

Bummer. Bogdanovic was very unlucky then. Never mind. He can now enter a different tournament to gain points.

Boggo will of course be at Wimbledon. He and Slabinsky have a wildcard into the doubles.
