He has had some success in the DC. Although he lost to Okun in last year's match, he beat Woodforde in a dead rubber in 2003. Woodforde's singles career was over long before 2003, but he was the same man who was a Wimbly semifinalist once upon a time and held two ATP titles.

This is certainly winnable for Boggo who's in good form at the moment.

Good luck to Alex and all Team GB!!!

Could someone post the score as it progresses - or point me in the direction of an online scoreboard. I'm nowhere near a TV right now.

The Davis Cup website only covers World Group and World Group Play-offs in it's livescores.

Frown I'd save all the hyperbole for the moment.

Boggers is 5-2 down, playing the worst match of his adult life and doesn't seem to be able to make even a basic shot. It's painful.

EDIT; Sheesh, I must damn him more often, Okun's love 40 with Boggo having 3 break back points

clap He breaks back...another one to get, Okun now trying to break for the set.

Whistle Boggo obviously read my critcism!! While both are still playing practically club level standard, he gets an ace to bring the score to 5-4 to Israel

shocking I was getting worried at the start.

Nice to see that Boggo pulled himself back up though. Now bring it up to 5-5. pray

Nope. First set to Israel.

Boggo needs much more self belief.Although he's playing far better during the last 3 games.

Gawd, the standard is awful though. It makes you realise just how good and far ahead the top players are.

shocking Blimey 15-40 down to holding his serve. Boggo is v lucky.

Sorry Arka he looks so ordinary. No flash of genius or anything. In fact if it wasn't The Davis Cup, I wouldn't be watching. I can go down to my club and see more excitement. Frown

Can Boggo "think" his way into this game? It's 2 all at the moment, but it should be 3-1 his way.

I just cannot see him ever becoming anything but a "journeyman". He hasn't Andy's or any of the decent players' mental strength. Which is such a huge factor in the sport. no

Sad.

3-2 GB. (on serve)

Are you watching it Julia? Because I think your first sentence is still true. Frown But then I'm not a Boggo fan, so I may be biased.  confused
