Yes just caught up on that.  Still that was their first match together so not a bad showing, and JJ took it on the champions tie break.  Flemchins will improve and do better - onwards and upwards

Jo Konta reached her 1st WTA Doubles SF as she and Mayr-Achleitner beat 4th seeds Chan/Husarova 63 62 great news for Jo after her early round qualifying exit getting some match fitness in

Very close -just one point in it!  John P & Jamie M lost in SF in Brisbane to Fyrstenberg & Nestor [2]
J&J won 71 points, F&N won 72
J&J 0/6 Break points won, F&N 1/3

Colin & Ross, John & Jamie and Jonny M & Paul Hanley all playing in Auckland this week

In Auckland: Jonny M and Paul Hanley lost to Butorac & Klaasen 6-2 7-6

Jamie & John beat Australian wildcards Statham & Venus 6-4 6-4 and play Butorac & Klaasen next.

Colin & Ross play Begemann & Emrich tonight/tomorrow

In Sydney: Dom & Treat beat Marrero & Andujar  6-4 6-3 and play 3rd seeds Bopanna & Qureshi next

Colin & Ross lost in Auckland. There was only one break point in the match, and Begemann & Emrich won 7-6(5) 6-3.

John & Jamie will be playing their QF around 7am UK time tomorrow

A back injury for Jamie apparently - that's the reason given on the drawsheet. Hope he's just being careful.
