Baker wins 7-6 6-2
Fleming beat Bloomers
Evo beat Eaton 4-6 6-2 6-1 (Evo apparently got fired up after getting some bad calls and destroyed a defenceless potted plant.... search me)
Cox won and will play Fleming.

Smethurst beat a guy ranked over 500 places above him 7-6(4), 6-1. Wins also for Aldridge and Skupski, who beat the 2nd seed, mean that 8 Brits in R2 with one guaranteed quarter-finalist. yay

That has to be the result of the year so far.  So many of the other Brits have had loads of trouble with Lacko.  I wonder where Col would be ranked now if he hadn't taken a couple years off.

Yeah, he and Jamie could be a good partnership for DC.  That's if Jamie keeps his place, at the rate both him and Hutchins are going it won't be long until Ross is GB no.1.  I'm not sure who he'd play with then, because the J. Murray / Hutchins partnership doesn't seem to be working.
