Yep 7-5 6-1. He plays 4th qualies seed, Santiago Ventura, on Friday.

Wickmayer won the ASB Classic here in NZ last week, so she will be full of confidence.
She struggled in her first match today needing a 7-5 3rd set against Yurika Sema, ranked 149.

The Wickmayer ranking surely must be wrong.....?
