This is something I was wanting to know for quite some time know. Which Brits have been ranked in the top 50 till now.I found it today from some forum. Here they are along with their career high rankings and their age when they reached that ranking:

11 Roger Taylor (13 Sep 73)  31y 10m
12 Mark Cox (3 Oct 77)  34y 2m
21 John Lloyd (23 Jul 78 ) 23y 10m
15 Buster Mottram (7 Feb 83) 27y 9m
31 Colin Dowdeswell (12 Dec 83) 28y 7m
4 Greg Rusedski (6 Oct 97) 24y 1m
4 Tim Henman (8 Jul 02) 27y 10m
42 Andy Murray (27 Feb 06) 18y 9m (Isn't he really really young!)

Thats only eight in so many years no Compare it with the Spanish, they have about seven in the top 50 at this moment.Still the future looks bright doesn't it?
