Rik de Voest.

It would have been a horrific result if Chris hadn't have qualified here.

Well he got more points and possibly prize money than he would have done if he had gone to Mexico City.

Chris records, possibly, his best result since Wimbledon.  yay  A 7-5 6-3 win over Rajeev Ram ranked 167 in a Challenger in Israel (he also had to make it through qualifying to get into the draw. Smile).

So that will take him to a new career high and once his Wimbledon points come off he'll still be in the top 500.

Great result for Chris yesterday, but he lost to Lu ( remember him from the olympics) today in the last 16.

Chris got more games off of Lu yesterday than Goodall did last week.

What week for Chris in Glasgow! The best of his tennis career since that Wimbledon.

He's continued his excellent form in the doubles by winning yet another title while partnering Dom Inglot, and transferring that to the singles, with culmination of the week coming today by winning his first Futures singles title (believe it or not lol) with a 6-4 6-4 victory over Jamie Baker in the final.
