Hate to admit this, but I really only took an interest in tennis when Andy came on the scene, but, now that I have, I find it really exciting and like several players though Andy is my 'main man'! Now, I'll watch Colin with interest too! Thanks for the info!
There's Jamie Baker as well who's from Scotland (Glasgow) and currently ranked about 400. Baker was also part of the Davis Cup team that played a few weeks ago.
Here's the forum thread:

Earlier today in the main draw Colin beat 6th seed Tatsuma Ito (ranked 169) in 3 sets. Best win ever, in terms opponent's ranking, for him.

Yeah. If Colin hadn't climbed the doubles rankings as quickly as he did in 2008 and 2009 when he returned to the tour, he'd probably be ranked in the singles somewhere between 100 and 250.

Beat a Spaniard (ranked 376) 4-6 6-3 6-4 despite losing the 1st 3 games of the final set to reach the QFs.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Like I say, when I saw Colin at Bolton Arena, I was mighty impressed. I thought 'here's a guy who's way, way better than his ranking' - for whatever reason. I'm following his career a bit more closely now.

It would be brilliant if Andy could have someone else around to take a bit of the spotlight away!

I see that Colin's site has been given a revamp (looks and layout wise) in the last day or 2.

Colin's last 4 doubles scores are 4-6 1-0 retirement, walkover, walkover and again walkover.

It was amazing to see Colin and Rosco bagel the Bryans! Such a shame they couldn't keep it going in the final set.
