Even I'll admit that Nadal is a far better player than Andy. But Nadal is one of those child prodigy that you only see once every 20 years or so. Once Andy gets a coach (preferrably Gilbert), then I think we will see Andy's game improve vastly.

Cox's ranking has taken a huge jump after his heroics in Roehampton. He has risen 80 places as he moves to 151 from 231. clap clap

He leapfrogs Rice, Michael Dalton and Simon Childs to take the place of British number two. Dyce is ranked 133.

Cox has 212.5 points, only 16.25 behind Dyce. When the Wimbledon points are added, he will move closer to Dyce or maybe even overtake him. dontknow

Being your country's Junior number one at the age of fifteen wouldl be a great achievement. Very Happy

They finally added a pic to his profile:

I think Nadal is a great guy - but his tennis bores me as it's all about out-powering his opponents.  I see him suffering from burn out by the time he's 24.  But.... hats off to the guy for doing what he's done!

Ladies and gents...... it gives me immense pleasure to announce the new British Boys' number one:

Daniel Cox! woohoo mexicanwave

He rises 20 places to 131 from 151, while Dyce drops two places to 135.
Great achievement by the boy, and he is much younger than all the others in the Brit top 10.

Finally, a pic that gives us a good look of him:

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

I really wish that Cox was physically a bit more like Nadal. Frown

He played really well yesterday though, hope more wildcards will come his way.
