Dan Cox has withdrawn from the Turkey F6 despite having a SE to the main draw......  Think
Must be very tired. 4 matches in the main draw last week and 7 matches the previous week.

Maybe he'll try and make the cut at one of the Challenger qualifying this weekend.  Think

He actually came home injured: http://www.sportsecho.co.uk/other_sports/tennis/news_and_reports/displayarticle.php?ID=7000

At the start of the trip, I had a shin splint problem and it just started to get worse.

As well as that, I also developed a problem with my heel, which made it difficult to play to the best of my ability.

Instead of just going through the motions, myself and my coach Magnus Tideman made the decision that I should return home and rest it.

I received some physiotherapy and was told to rest it for three or four days. It's already starting to feel a little better so I'm sure I made the right decision.

Is he still suffering from the same injury? Not played at all this year...apparently.

This is what the juniors website is saying...he is not even ranked.

All the above posts on him playing are from this year, aren't they?

Hello Tommy! He's too old for juniors now. You have to look at the seniors site or the ATP site.

Coxy's currently just outside the top 600 and won a round at the Wimbledon qualifying event on Monday.

Ah...thanks for the update Allan. Smile Much obliged.

Seems like Daniel Evans has over taken Cox as Britans best new hope?

Possibly. Cox is still quite short so I think that will hamper his progress.
