He lost in 3 sets despite winning 1 more point overall in the match and winning 6 games in a row in the 2nd set.

Dan played a blinder today and beat an opponent ranked over 200 places above him.  If he can complete the task on Sunday then his confidence will sky rocket and I think he will climb the ranking ladder very quickly this year and finish the year close to the 100 mark.

Fantastic win at the DC for Dan - should do wonders for his confidence.

With today amazing win against Klizan (ranked 120) for Dan to raise his level again in the 5th set even though he must have been exhausted, will do his self confidence a world of good.  With continued work on his fitness level, his future must be really bright this year.

Smith was saying today that he is seeing Dan putting in the work daily, taking ownership of his development.

Dan has all the shots in the book.  Top 100 beckons.

Top 100, or near enough it, for Dan by the end of the year hopefully and then on to top 50.

You're telling me!  It was indeed a roller-coaster.  I was on the edge of my seat in the fifth.

Can't believe the change in Evans from the last time I saw him play.  His game has improved and so has his attitude.  Kept his nerve when everyone else was just about giving up on him.  I really hope he builds on this, because, if he does, a bright future beckons.

He really has improved so much, great to see. Smile The commentators were being so negative about him in the third and fourth sets so I'm glad he proved them wrong!
