I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Top teen on the planet is getting his arse whupped by his even younger compatriot in R2 of the same event. Kokkinakis is making real strides here. Dan is on after this match (Kokkinakis leads Kyrgios 6-2, 5-4).

Here they both are in the Aussie boys' final:

Win for Kyrgios. Evo on now

Sadly this match not on Stadium court, so we don't get the USTA stream and commentary. Sounds very windy

What a backwater that is, with that main road right behind the baseline. Good test for Dan's mentality. Or New Dan, as I call him.

Dan has more talent in his toenail than this guy has in his whole body.

Wind is something of an equaliser here. On serve, mid-way through the first set.

Have commented on the "other British men" thread about the contrast with US Open!

Why does this other guy have such an odd rankings history?

And what does T mean in the rankings?

College.

Tied stands for tied.

Dan breaks. *4-2.

Some pretty dodgy line calls and Jenkins breaks straight back.

Wow, beautiful lob from Dan and it's a third successive break. Dan to serve for the set.

Thanks, but how come he can be ranked 1422 in Jan, not play any matches for 6 months and suddenly be ranked 654?

Dan breaks again, serving at 5-2

Looking at his playing activity - All his points dropped off in Jan, then in his first tournament back he made the final of a Futures, then won one the week after. As it was during Wimbledon, the points didn't come on for another week after, and he made a Challenger R2 in that week so when the points finally came on the board he picked up 35 in one go.

First set Dan 6-3.

Thanks MH - I realise I wasn't really aware how many/few points were needed for rankings in the 600s etc. Steven ‏@GBtennis had said he was fast rising, points based on few tournaments.

The bottom ends of the rankings, 700-1000 are very close. Most are tied rankings. If someone gains 1 point a week, they can move up 25 places. It's absurd.

Why can I never use these streams without being asked to download some crappy software, which then leaves me with all sorts of stupid search bars and other freeware that clogs up my PC?

I'm being told that I'm missing 3 different things, but I can still watch. Have to be quite careful not to click on anything or all sorts of rubbish comes up.

Evo down a break, but breaks back. Will serve at 1-2

Twitter is amazing sometimes: Brit fan Liz to commentator on the other match at Sacramento

Liz Curran ‏@lizcurran 9m
@MikeCTennis - hi I'm watching Court16 on the live stream (Evo) and the camera needs adjusting a bit as we're missing half the near court

- I realise you're busy commentating but if anyone could adjust it it at some point that would be great. Thanks!

@MikeCTennis THANK YOU!!!
