If he loses there is nothing to be ashamed of here, it's not like he got destroyed winning only 5 games all match, if that TB had gone differently who knows what would have happened.

I would actually go as far to say that this has been his most impressive performance yet. Robredo has been a cut above Nishikori (who was very poor) and Tomic (good in patches, poor in more) and Dan has been behind all match but has fought tremendously and has played some incredible points.
