He won the 4th set 6-1. 2-0 lead for GB and Flemski should wrap it tomorrow.

Phew sounds like it's going well, nice that it now relies on players that are likely to deliver! Flemski!

This is very good news apart from the 3rd set scare from Ward. This one is now in the bag as I expect Flemski to bring home the bacon tomorrow . I wonder how much of Ward's good win is due to Leon Smith motivational skill / strategy/tactical advices or simply due to the Turk's tiredness as shown below. Smith has started well. This is looking good for British tennis. If they can keep winning, soon there will be a second Singles player to support Andy at the DC (although I don't think Andy won't play again until the team gets back to tier 1). ========================== http://www.sportinglife.com/tennis/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=tennis/10/07/09/TENNIS_Davis_Cup_Nightlead.htmlIlhan was disappointed with his performance and blamed mental and physical fatigue for his defeat. The 23-year-old, who is scheduled to play doubles with Haluk Akkoyun on Saturday, said: "I didn't play good tennis today. Maybe I am tired because I have played long matches every week. Mentally I was also a little bit tired. It was not my day today."

We don't. We prevent ourselves going to the bottom.

You could say that we're going into the division we're already in.

Just looked at the structure on Wikipedia.
