2007 actually, against Croatia, to get us promotion to the World Group. It was Tim's last tie before retirement.

Better than playing against Greece, Iceland, Moldova, etc.  Until now GB hasn't won a DC tie since September 2007 against Croatia when Henman made his last appearance.  Even then I think we were a bit lucky because two of Croatia's top players were unavailable, and Andy was out through injury.
Iceland? Seriously there are 5+ tennis players in Iceland? I'm pretty sure thar when I went there I didn't see a single tennis court!

Yes, there is even the Icelandic Tennis Association.  I would imagine most of their courts are indoors.

And they even play outdoors - on rather ashy-looking surfaces ... but they don't have a male player inside the top 1500.

Great Britain completed a 5-0 whitewash over Turkey in their Davis Cup Europe/Africa Group II play-off in Eastbourne.

Baker overwhelmed debutant Tuna Altuna 6-3 6-2 and Ward then crushed Ergun Zorlu 6-1 6-3 to wrap up the win.

More to the point, how ******* **** are Turkey? They may as well retire now, they lost to Great Britain at a Davis Cup tie. Without Murray.
