GB lead 6-1 *2-3.
Think Nigel is 3 or 4 rows behind me.

A set all. Played a stinker of a game to get broken.

Let's hope they get the fourth! Watching live scores it looks scrappy and unconvincing.
Allan, our man on the front line, what's it look like to you
?

Scrappy and a bit inconsistant. Need solid play and remain focussed. Some good point being producted by the Tunisians though.

I was back row on the right, Allan. In the LTA seats.
Colin Fleming very impressive. Not sure about Murray elder.

Luxembourg lead Ireland 2-1 so at the moment it's looking like Luxembourg at home the weekend after Wimbledon...

Oh, you know. Connections. Contacts. Friends in high places.
Actually, I just snuck in cos the seats were empty.
I was mighty impressed by Fleming - as a doubles player anyway. If he made any unforced errors, apart from double faults, they passed me by. I see he took three years out to get a first-class honours degree. I wonder if it affected his progress.

Thanks for the reports from yourself and Nigel. Only caught up with the score this morning and couldn't believe Fleming/Murray actually managed to lose a set, but according to the Beeb inconsistent serving was the problem, and I suppose it goes without saying that Tunisia were probably playing out of their skins.

Fleming is impressive and usually consistent. He and his partner did a great job winning gold for Scotland in the mixed doubles last year in Delhi.
In an interview a while back Fleming said he realised he was never going to make the top of the tennis tree, so hence the degree. Incidentally all his pals from Stirling Uni usually turn up at DC matches if he's playing and are very vocal!
Maybe Murray elder has same problems with consistency as Murray younger?
Talking of which, Murray younger has reportedly said he'll play in the next DC tie. Maybe it's time he does - after all, according to DC requirements, the countries involved are
supposed
to put forward their best players; and Fed had the Swiss tennis authorities breathing down his neck recently because he hasn't 'condescended' to turn up for quite a while now.

Live-streams seem to be showing a load of DCs but not this one.
Really hope Ward wins, and that if he loses that Boggo isn't playing the decisive rubber. Smith seems to have faith in him, but given his past record ...
