A great and gritty win for Elena holding her nerve to come back from 5-1 in the 3rd set tie break.
Currently, assuming that she is not defending any point and every one stays the same, Elena will have gained 90 points to 1044 points (break through the 1000 barrier) and moves from 65 up to 61st position. Two more wins and she will get to the top 50 position that she is aiming for !

First top 10 win for a British woman since 1998. She should aim to be seeded for Roland Garros hahaha.

Found a stat that says otherwise. - first British woman to beat a top 10 player this century (Sam Smith beat Conchita Martinez WR 7 on Court 2 at Wimby in 1999)

The last time a British woman had beaten a top ten opponent was at Wimbledon in 1998 when Sam Smith defeated the 1994 champion Conchita Martinez in the third round (Martinez was in attendance at the tournament here yesterday, just to add a further touch of piquancy). http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/tennis/article7060775.eceSo there

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Plays Alicia Molik 8.30 tonight. Is it on the box?

Apparently she got mistaken for Elena Dementieva earlier... by a man. Probably the gayest thing I have ever heard haha.

Probably not as it's likely to be played at the same time as Andy.
